Science Explorations is a series of online investigations featuring the latest scientific discoveries of the Museum's experts. Science Explorations is a collaboration between the Museum and Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education, and media company, created to promote science literacy among students in grades 3 through 10.

Developed by two of the Museums most distinguished curators, Niles Eldredge and Joel Cracraft, 'Evolution' draws on the Museum's long-standing leadership in the fields of paleontology, geology, systematics. and molecular biology to tell a modern story of evolution. Learn about the contributions of Darwin, the mechanisms of evolution, human evolution, and modern applications in medicine, public health. and conservation.
