Science Explorations is a collaboration between the Museum and Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education, and media company, created to promote science literacy among students in grades 3 through 10.

Our newest course is an in-depth study of Evolution, developed by two of the Museums most distinguished curators Niles Eldredge and Joel Cracraft, and draws on the Museum's long-standing leadership in the fields of paleontology, geology, systematics, and molecular biology to tell a modern story of evolution. Learn about the contributions of Darwin, the mechanisms of evolution, human evolution, and modern applications in medicine, public health, and conservation.
